Henderson Falls is well worth visiting!
A recent trip down the 710 to Hatfield Point had me right by Henderson Falls. I made a quick detour to check it out, and it was well worth the stop! There is parking there, and it’s a quick walk to the falls. The best time to go is spring or fall when the water is flowing strongly. Or anytime this past summer, as we’ve seen a lot of rain in Queens County this year!
There is something so calming about water raging off a cliff . Luckily for those of us in NB, there is no shortage of waterfalls. The rocky terrain, frequent elevation changes, and abundance of waterways make NB the perfect place to go chasing waterfalls!

Henderson Falls Scavenger Hunt (Waterfall Geocaching New Brunswick)
The first time we visited Henderson Falls, my wife was keen to see if there was anything hidden at the waterfalls. Any time we visit someplace new, you can bet she’s checking the Geocaching app. Geocaching is called “the world’s largest treasure hunt.”
Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity where participants rely on coordinates or clues provided online to locate these hidden caches. My wife is big into obscure internet games, and we both like being outdoors, so while geocaching isn’t an activity I’d take up on my own, it does prove to be interesting from time to time!
Henderson Falls has its own “treasure” (aka a cache) to be found, so while you’re visiting the falls, this might be something you’ll want to check out while you’re there (we found it in 2022, and the description, written in 2009 (!), can be found here. If you download the Geocaching app, check out the comments for Henderson Falls for hints if you get stuck.
A big list of waterfalls in NB that have caches to find is available here.
